Death of a Warrior
The field is covered with corpses.
A lone Klingon stands among the dead.
Knife in hand, he attacks the enemy.
He fights with honor.
Swiftly, he kills the enemy around him
But the fight goes against him.
Fatally stabbed, his lifeblood
leaves his body.
Fek’lhr can’t claim him.
He joins the honored dead.

This is my first Klingon language poem. It's in two forms; Romanized Klingon and the translation into Terran English. I wanted to display the poem in KLI pIqaDmey but in order for you to see it properly, the pIqaDmey fonts would have to be installed on your computer.
